Manual Train Horn Valve Cover

Give your truck that old school sound and add some style as you open up that driver side door.

Custom fabricated in house. Designed to fit either the Horn Blasters valve or Graham White 353 1/2" manual valve.

Easy install and top-notch quality.

A lot of people ask us what it does, rather than an electric valve for your train horns which is either on or off. This allows you to control the air flow to your train horns and gives it an authentic and old school sound. Install is super easy, and it hides the big bulky valve while allowing you to customize it to match your truck. Our customers have polished, painted to match, powder coated and even wrapped them in leather to pop in the interior.

Install

-Pick your location on the door side of the driver seat, make sure it's comfortable to reach and won't be easy to hit or get snug up on.

-Verify nothing under the cab will be in the way of mounting or allowing air lines to enter the cab. Use the bracket as your drill template and mark your floor. Brackets are pre drilled for an 3/8s bolt. Drill holes and bolt securely to the floor.

-Thread the provided 1/2"npt swivel 1/2" dot PTC fittings into the valve. You want to go a quarter turn past snug to prevent leaks. Place the valve in the bracket lining up the valve mounting holes. You will now be able to mark the floor for the 1/2" dot airline to come through the floor.

-We recommend plumbing the valve in first then plumb the other ends after install. Make sure to cut all airline square, this will insure a leak free install. If the hose has nicks or scratches trim back to a clean spot. Push airlines into the PTC fittings make sure the hose seats all the way in the bottom of the fitting.

-Fish the valve inside the box, use provided never seize on the hardware as its stainless steel and will prevent galling. The sex bolt/kissing bolt comes in from the back side (the seat side) put it through the box, bracket and valve all in 1 motion. The stainless-steel button head goes in the front side with provided stainless steel washer. Use a 5/32 allen key to tighten up the button head bolt back side takes a flat head screwdriver.

-Once set up is sitting as desired tighten up the hardware. Then you are ready to plumb from air tank to valve and valve to train horn.

This is designed to be run either way handle towards front of the cab or towards the back of the cab. We test fit every unit before it leaves to the customer.
