Trucks with bumper lifts will require additional modifications to work properly with this setup. This 2” body drop kit is designed specifically for Peterbilt 389 models and includes:
New cab mounts (constructed from durable 3/8” steel)
Optional fabricated dropped sleeper mounts
Optional bumper drop brackets
Lower hood hinge mounts (frame side)
Coolant reservoir drop bracket
Washer reservoir drop bracket
 
This kit allows you to achieve a clean 2" drop while maintaining factory alignment—factory holes line up, no cutting or drilling required. The hood hinge brackets are fully TIG welded and designed to utilize the factory pivot bushing and upper hinge already attached to the hood.
